Feeling suspicious I have today taken the rubber off my trailer ramp and poked it with a screwdriver = rotten around the edges.

It's a Cheval Liberte 2003XL, made in 2006 ish. I've just emailed Cheval to ask if I can buy the materials from them directly but as it's so old I'm not expecting they'll have them.

SO to get to the point can anyone advise me of the correct materials to use for a ramp? I'm veering towards Buffalo board (we did the floor of my old trailer with this) but not sure it's correct and would also like something that can go in in one piece!

"local" dealer is about 2 hours away, I have rung them so will see what they say, I know they'd have to get it shipped over from Europe which could take ages, which I'd like to avoid!

Yes, but make sure you waterproof it with yacht paint or such like, even if it's marine ply. I didn't and had to replace it again within a couple of years...... make sure you paint the edges too!
