Any recommendations-in case I get some new suggestions?

We have a kong-never sure about nylabones really, is there anything I can buy that has the same right amount of give in it as a wooden Ikea desk leg? :).

Not sure about age of your puppy but our 6 month old loves deer ears (very smelly) bully tails, bulls pizzles :-0 and chicken feet. I find the bull tails last the longest but he loves deer ears.

Wet a flannel or towel then freeze it!

Antlers are good to., I haven't tried bull bars or root chews but have heard good things :)

he's only 14 weeks so was a bit wary of antlers being too hard? Last dog loved buffalo horn but again, thought he was too young for them, ditto the air dried stuff. the flannel is a good idea though, thanks and I've ordered a root chew to try.

Great for leaving out on the lawn in view of the neighbours. :D

Whole antlers are quite hard but you can get ones that have been split in half lengthways which are more suitable for puppies - the core of the antler is a bit softer and has just the right amount of give.

Alternatively, do IKEA sell table legs individually?

oh, didnt know about the split antlers, thanks.

lol-well the table legs were very cheap but if we can't get them to match, we'll just turn them around so we can't see the damage :) (its just some teeth marks tbf).

I think C1airey meant can you purchase puppy a leg ;)

I could lol but they are painted.

Just thought I would say the the root chew I bought him is his new favourite thing. It doesn't splinter or disintegrate (I will obviously keep a close eye as he gets bigger and stronger). It's pretty hard but has perfect amount of give to satisfy the urge.

Please don't do this, it's just asking for your puppy to have surgery to remove bits of flannel.

I would use kongs, you can put stuff in them and freeze it to make it harder and colder for teething puppies. Kong also do teething sticks.

Antlers are good, they do some easy chew ones that are cut in half for puppies and small dogs. But make sure you discard them when they get small enough to swallow.
