My small lurcher whippet x keeps chewing her left toes or claws with her molars on an evening when were settled. She doesn't seem lame on it and we did try clipping her nails cos they looked a bit long, but that made no difference. She is very active when we go for walks and runs everywhere, but the chewing is always the left toes/claws.
Obviously we've looked as best we can but can't see anything between her toes or around her claws.
It doesn't seem to get any better or worse and b/c it's not bothering her any other time or looks sore we haven't seen the vet yet, but she's due for boosters so thought I'd ask here for any ideas first.
