Chicks and dogs update

This morning I went into the kitchen to refill my caffeine. All four chicks has squeezed out of the crate. The dogs went over to them but no attempt at hurting them. Freddie likes to put her nose on them, very gently. Hopefully this will be the start of a good trend.

Raising rabbits for meat is next on my self sufficiency list.

they used to keep rabbits in medieval times for meat in burrows. Obviously they somehow stopped the bunnies escaping but at leats they had a normal life until......

I was called back to work this afternoon so I'm going to hold on the rabbits unless my neighbor reports my chickens.
