Chico's coming home tomorrow!!

Vet just phoned me and OMG Chico is coming home tomorrow!

The vet said she hasnt known a horse cope so well with colic surgery before and he is doing amazing. Also said in her career she has never seen so little edema around the wound as she has seen in Chico.

He will be out of action for 6 months now. 3 months box rest with in hand grazing and then 3 months of very limited grazing. Our summer riding is out of the window now but i dont care, my boy is still with me
