Does anyone know what the money is like?

A website I was on said about £20,000 a year when you first start and £70,000 and over for more senior & experienced chiropractors, which is about the same (maybe a bit more) than what it said for veterinary surgeons.

So what's the money actually like? Is it hard to get by, would I be able to afford a horse?

A bit uncertain of what I want to be, I did want to be a vet but I would also love to be a chiropractor. And to get into the McTimoney Chiropractic College one of the entry requirements is a BSc in Equine Science (the course is run at a college about 20/30 mins away from me which would be very handy) which I would love to do.

well, most of them charge £35 or more to do a horse, and i think it's about £25 to do a person, cash usually, pre-tax obviously. (!)
i think they do very well if they're good, no idea about total earnings though.

Ehm, I was £65 for a mctimoney visit the other day - she did do a bit of massage and added on a bit for travel though

You would only earn £70k a year as a Veterinary Surgeon if you were a partner in owning a Veterinary Practice or a specialist Veterinary Surgeon. Most Vets that work in a run of the mill practice as an assistant to partners will earn between £28k - £40k max depending on years qualified.

I have no idea how much they earn, but I think they're marvellous.

I kept getting a frozen shoulder last year and Denise sorted me out great

Not sure if her pummeling of my cob's (Hermione) shoulder has helped much though?
