Thank you for all your lovely messages. I'm in agony today, can't stop howling. Life is so so unfair :(

Yes Cedars life is so unfair. Poor Poor Chloe.

Had the farm vet here this morning for the cattle, so showed him your posts and asked how a dog with mutiple organ failure would present. To cut a long story short a dog would not be able to go swiming in fact the vet said it would be incumbent and very depressed.

I dont know your reasons for having Chloe pts but it wasnt for the above, some people on here might swallow your story but there are many others who dont.

I suggest anyone who disagrees with my post do your research before coming back unless that is you are happy for a 2yrs 5months dog with minor allerges being pts.

Wish my vet could diagnose from forum post, would save me a fortune in call out fees for the horse, could cut down on all those pesky blood tests as well.

As you said you don't know the reasons, you haven't spoken to the dogs vet and in this case I think the old saying or 'if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all' would be a good one to follow.

CEDARS - I don't know you, but the story and pictures yesterday brough a tear to my eye.

If Chloe was suffering from the early stages of organ failure, with a poor prognosis, then it makes sense to me that she might still be able to rally for short periods... if she was only going to go donwnhill, it seems to me best to pts before she got to the absolutely desperate stage.
