She got off the sofa and just couldnt support herself with it so sat on the floor.

Up and walking now but limping with a sad look in her eyes.

My baby =[

You know what though? That's not as bad as it could be - at least you know that you can get something done to address the problem, and although in the short term it will be unpleasant for you and her, in the long term you will both be better off for it.

Vibes to you both. x

You said this leg was dislocating frequently back in October didn't you, so it would seem now is the time to talk to your vet about having this hip done. As Spudlet says, you know that Chloe copes well with the surgery, so whilst it will be the same tough recovery hopefully she will be soon back to normal.

Hugs and healing vibes.
I'm just about to go off to the vet with jess to try and find out why she is on 3 legs.
I've just about got our finances back on track after last year and here we go again.
Mind you I don't begrudge spending it on the dogs.

Then I'd be making the appointment to have her operated on asap, as it obviously does now need doing.
she was fine for the other one, she should be fine for this one.

Panicking here she seems fine btu cant stand up well she can stand when shes upright but cant get up or down my vet not in today dont know what to do she was fine yesterday

Oh dear. Try and keep her and you calm and quiet and then get to the vet tomorrow. Sounds as though its time to have the other hip done now. Please try not to worry, I know it looks awful to see her but she wont be feeling as worried as you I promise.

Hi all,

Well she went down again and this time the whole leg was very obviously dislocated, so I rang the vets back and insisted that they rang her vet as I was on my way in with a v poorly dog.

He beat me there and took one look at her and said she needed to stay in tonight, full examination tomorrow and then she'll have the op either tomorrow or Friday, as soon as he gets 5 minutes basically.

Anyway, so, poor pups. She seems v happy now she's doped up, I left her playing with the nurses in her crate.

Bloody dogs! xxx

Absolutely Spudlet and CC. She obviously has her own agenda!! And shes want a puppy to play with in the summer and is just making sure she'll be ready in time!!!!

Poor stinky. I miss her.

Big hugs to you and Chloe. I cried my heart out when Jake's second knee went, even tho I knew it would. It just seems so unfair on the dog when they don't understand why you're restraining them.

She'll be fine, hun. chin up.
