Choices choices (CAYLA - DO NOT READ!!!!)

Well I have hopefully got the choice of a black whippet dog or a blue whippet bitch....

Which one would you go for?

I was intending to go for a dog, as I find they are more affectionate and I am aware that bitches dont always get along together that well if you try and introduce a new one.

But I already have a black sighthound, and I have always, always wanted a blue...

I must point out that having both is NOT an option

If it were me I would go for a dog.
Although exisiting male is already hideously emasculated living with three stroppy bitches (that's Bella, Mumsie and me

Three bitches would be a bit much for me I think, although I have never had more than two at a time anyway.

Oooh how can you make a choice....it is soooo hard!! I have 2 girlies and a boy and it seems to work fine so maybe go for the dog. But then you want a blue sooo maybe go for the bitch.
Can you ask them if they have the dog in a blue?!!

I agree that a dog would probably fit in with the others better, would it confuse the issue further to suggest you wait for a blue dog if you really have your heart set on one. Sadly I am sure one will come along before too long.

I just rang my mum to ask her opinion, and she said neither cos 3 dogs was too many

Which is fine, except she has 12 at the moment

Hmmm, I am not doing a very good job of listening to advice here am I, I think I am set on the blue bitch.....

They come into Cayla on Tuesday, so then I have to see pics and decide if I want one of them

Then I shall be jumping into my car and heading down the motorway if all goes well

If so, personally, I would go for the bitch. I think its easier to have a same sex pack

I have dogs and bitches together and I really think how they get on is down to the individual not the sex. The 3 bitches are all really cuddly and one of the dogs is so soppy he's almost special needs and the other is very affectionate but a bit 'in yer face' with it. Two of the bitches hate one of the dogs but like the other and one dog and one bitch play like mental but none of the others do so.....get the one you fall for when you meet them and whichever one you choose you'll make it work.

If you have two bitches already then I would lean towards the dog. I have two lurcher girls and my next dog with be a boy.

However, if its an option, I would wait until your own dogs can meet them and they will make the decision for you

I think you need to have them both on a trial basis.... of course you must be careful not to fall in love with both and vice versa in which case you would have to keep them both.....
