tried out new horsey last night with old horses bridle, inc single jointed snaffle, anyway he was chomping at it all the time. it was then changed to a full cheek with flash, but still doing it.

what bit should i get - thinking french link? want to steer clear of flash atm

is he young? yougnsters like to mouth and play with the bit. no matter what bit ive got on my horse he mouthes lovely, i bought a loopring snaffle a few weeks ago and its got to be the best bit ive used on any horse, i bought it from countrysupplies.com/might be .co.uk,for £7!!!!
