The cost of my NFU renewal is a little  to say the least, especially since I only want to insure for £500 to cover vets fees.

I used Am Trust's website to generate a new quote and it was much more reasonable but it was subject to G passing a two stage vetting. Is this normal? If I pay out for a vetting it defeats the purpose of finding cheaper insurance.

Will all insurance companies ask for this? I'm not worried he won't pass but if they all ask for this it would be cheaper to just stick with NFU.

I use Petpaln equine-i have vets fee's cover and didnt have to pass any sort of vetting-the premiums seem to be reasonable and the service from them has been great!

I'm with E&L and honestly had NO problems with them.THey always pay out. Infact I asked them yesterday if they could lower my premium and they said lets see and yes I got a few quid off. #
E&L are not as bad as people make them out to be.Always payed out and within 2 weeks of claiming!!!
