On our way out for a meal last night we were driving down an exceptionally narrow lane, this lane has overhanging trees and is only suitable for cars, even then you get your mirrors touching the sides.
My husband decides to tell me he mistakenly drove our re-sprayed 7.5 ton horse box down here last week by mistake!
I couldn't believe it and asked if it got scratched, he insists it hasn't a mark on it and if so he must have crawled down at 5mph the entire way as there are broken branches everywhere into the lane.
Apparently he thought he was in the car.
Telling me then of course meant I woul be concentrating on said lane myself.

Oops! My sister-in-law- went up to the Quorn for a day a couple of weeks ago. Forgot to put the handbrake on and my brother-in-laws lorry - of which he is very proud - rolled away and crashed into another lorry!!

Hope yours is OK. Have you been over it with a fine toothcomb?

EEEEEK!!!

I do hope he's right and the lorry's not marked. Of course men and women have different standards where the "not a mark on it" philosophy is concerned. I know this from personal experience. Duncan leant his ladders against my newly painted wall and told me "It's ok, they've not marked it". When I went to inspect there were two oily black marks on the wall that refused to be painted over no matter how many times I tried! (There is a picture there now!)

Fingers crossed for lorry!

Uh oh!!

A friend of mine bought a brand spanking new box. Her husband had always driven her around and wanted to buy her a box that she could drive. He always likes having the best of everything (and why not). However, said friend took it for a little drive to see how she coped, she did a great job and was very proud of herself until she pulled in to the drive and "Scrrrraaaaaaaaaaaape" She dug in to a granite boulder!!! shocked:

Hubby went mad and she refused to ever drive it again. LOL! Woops!

We can laugh now but at the time it was a very, very sore subject!!
