Choosing travel boots

I'm thinking ahead to spring already when I (and my mare) will be moving 4 hours away from our current yard. Luckily my YO has offered to transport her as I have no trailer but I'm a bit stumped on how best to protect her legs. I've only moved her once before and as it was only a 30 min drive she went naked. I'm thinking of travel boots as I won't be there to load her and want to make things easy for my YO. I found a good deal on done Rhinegold half boots - has anyone used these? On the other hand I know some people prefer to bandage on longer journeys for the extra support.
Thoughts? She's a fairly sensible TB and will be travelling alone.

From reading previous posts on this subject, you will get a mix of responses. Many always boot up, many never boot up, and I think generally the professional transporters tend not to boot up, it really does come down to personal choice.

I always travel mine in boots,, not necessarily because of the journey itself, but because I've both seen and heard of some nasty leg injuries from horses loading and unloading and slipping or jumping or rushing on/off the ramp and hurting themselves.
