Christmas gifts for horsey girlfriend?

What budget do you have in mind for her gift(s)?

What type of riding does she do?

Does she collect anything horsey related? My OH collects a series of old kids pony books and I bought her about 50 off eBay which made her bounce... annoyingly that was not her main gift

Another question would be do you ride? Could you get her a gift where both of you go riding together?

My husband bought me a pen knife from the farm supplies place so I can open my own bales of hay. He bought me a wheel barrow as a house warming present once too. He likes shopping there as it doesn't involve going to town!

Best horsey present I had was for my 40th birthday. My friend arranged a secret photo shoot for my horse with a friend of hers who is a very good photographer. She chose a photo and had it enlarged and framed. I was also given a CD with all the others photos which were taken. I was delighted with the picture and pleased that someone had gone to all that effort for me. I seem to remember I cried ..

I would buy a large tubtrug in her fav colour pop her main gift in the bottom and then fill it with inexpensive horsey bits and bobs (treats, hoofpick leadrope, haynet, that sort of thing). I done it a couple for times for friends and they've both loved it.

If she's not thrilled you could more or less have your pick of the women here

This is a great idea, I would love it. I would like a Point2 jacket at the bottom of the trug but that is quite a big gift!
