Christmas presents for yard

For £10or under (there are 10 to buy for) what would you sugest, age from 15 to 63!! Doesnt all have to be the same but i just dont know what to get ! Thought id be rubbish at suggestions hence starting to think now !!
 
Stocking with cheap hoof pick, horse treats, socks, primark hat and gloves and a chocolate bar? Or headcollar? Personally I buy a couple of tubs of sweets and a tub of horse treats and leave it in the tack room with a card stuck to the list. Much easier and cheaper!
 
I'd go with the Christmas stocking idea. More stocking filler ideas...little pot or tubes of hand cream, small diary, mini torch or led light, luxury hot chocolate sachets, miniature bottles of spirits (for the grown ups obviously!).
 
Gala has some good ideas there. A small tube of handcream that will fit in a pocket is very handy, especially if you have hands like mine that wither at the first hint of water on them. I also love my little LED light on my keyring - places like Poundland often do packs of 3 for £1. What about little gel handwarmers? Again, Poundland and the like provide!

You could pack the above into a plastic lunchbox (Poundland!) along with some sweeties/horse treats, sachets of hot chocolate and cheapy magic stretchy gloves ( I am an expert at losing gloves and hate riding without if I have rubber reins as my skin reacts) so that it could be kept in the tackroom as a kind of emergency kit - some practical and some luxuries for making you feel better after a freezing day!
 
As it's nice and early, why not organise a Secret Santa? It's very generous of you to buy for everyone, but maybe not everyone else can afford to - a Secret Santa would avoid any possible embarrassment :) (Unless of course you are the amazingly generous yard owner, and buying for all your liveries - in which case I'd give every one a bale of hay with a red ribbon round it ;) )

I wish!!! Im a working student!! One present for yard manager, one present for yard owner, the rest may get something small !
 
An organza bag tied with a red ribbon with a few polos and a carrot :)

If you want to splurge, get the young ones maybe neck covers (don't know the exact name)

If your YO is nice, yes give he/she some fudge or chocolate

What about a little raffle bucket? Do a bucket and fill it with streamers, paper and glitter and hide wrapped up gifts in them. Get each person to put their hand in with their eyes closed and pull out a gift. Fun and exciting and will be sure to make some people happy.
 
When I had liveries I used to do each of them a stocking hung on their horse's door (just a cheap furry red one), with a lickit, a packet of polos, a carrot and an apple, then one of those tiny £1 boxes of Lindt chocs, a few handwarmers (the throwaway ones, and I bought a bulk box from ebay), a torch keyring, and a couple of mini baileys. It didn't cost very much, but everyone loved it (especially as I used to hang them up on Xmas morning at stupid o clock before anyone got there.
 
we've had yard jumpers, and fleece saddle clothes with horses names on all different colours of fleece and writing and style of writing.
 
I would get everyone one of those witches brooms! They are £5.99 at our local saddlers.
I can't quite understand why if people love them so much, why they don't buy one! Instead they just use mine!!
I would definately get them all one of those :)

That's so lovely!
 
The thought is nice but unless you are rich why spend when you really dont need to and it could make others less fortunate feel they need to. So a big tin of choccies for the tack room, or a big slab of choc each at £1, remember its the thought that counts. Or a sack of carrots for the yard.
