Thought this might be interesting to see.

A healthy Xray

A chronic lami Xray. You can see how chronic lami often leads to bone loss. This horse will have been PTS, I'm sure . It really highlights to me how prevention is so much better than cure.

Thanks for sharing this....
I post on here about lami often....and I go on and on about doing xrays.....this just proves they are worth doing...as even in a less severe case you will see movement of the pedal bone away from the wall....and will need to adjust the hoof angle acordingly....well....the farrier will

Eeeek and I thought idiot Ponies X-rays were bad! (15 degree rotation in both front tootsies)
