ive just bought a 1 year old section c, hes chronicly headshy...cant get anywhere near his neck or anything he just spins his back to you...never kicks or anything like it but try to go near his head and he either runs away or spins on you.....i dont know much about horses so i could do with some help lol

'Headsiness' I do believe you have invented a new horse term micky_ozzy

He has probably been handled roughly and over reacts when someone goes near his head. Best to gain overall trust before making too much of the head thing. Be very careful with the spinning, he may not kick you now but you never know and if you are not experienced you may miss the warning signs and get yourself kicked.

Two things I would do:
Check his under carriage to make sure he is a gelding and not a colt still
Get some experienced sympathetic help (for the pony that is, not you!)
