Probably doesn't mean much to alot of you but today I had my 1st canter outside the school this morning on Mr T, it meant the world to me to finally pluck up the courage to do it alone too!

He was just brilliant went into canter when I asked and kept going infact he was a bit strong lol but on the button came back to trot when I asked with my voice.

He really is worth his weight in gold this boy, he certainly is/has helped with re-building my shattered confidence he's such a angel in ALL ways just love him.
We hacked out couple weeks ago with couple girls and we went on a main busy road for part of the hack, a single bus came past us and OMG my heart was beating soooo fast but concentrated on my breathing as it past and he didn't even bat an eyelid at the bus.... I honestly could've cried there and then I was shaking I know that LOL....

I only have Mr T on loan at the moment, but come August next year when the year agreement is up I have the opportunity to buy him he is so super safe and that to me is just so precious.
He's not very forward going in the school or being lunged but hey I reckon I could cope with that for the safe hacking.

Like I said not that exciting BUT to me it really is.... can't stop smiling.
LOVE MR TOBY :D :D :D :D :D :D

Its sooo quick and easy to loose your confidence and to get it back can take sooooo long

:D what a lovely post, so pleased for you as i know how bad it feels when you have lost confidence. he looks like a lovely boy, why dont you try and buy him before the year is up in case the owner bumps the price up ? well done you!!!!!!

He's 17yrs old so will be 18 when August comes, this part puts me off alittle but he still has plenty of life left in him too.

We've already agreed a price and that is also negotiable, his owner loves how I look after him too which is nice.
He's one spoilt pony lol :D :D :D :D :D

what makes it funnier is he does have his tantrum moments but they are so funny I can't help but to laugh at him.

I love toby, it makes me smile everytime I see your posts :-)

Don't worry about his age, we've had all ours until well into their 20's and in my friends mare's case mid 30's and she was still doing x-country at 31!!! Enjoy him xx
