My "traditional" will be two next month and has grown from 13hh to 14hh in the past year. I've read that, on average, to estimate adult height you add on two hands to their height at a year and then a hand onto their height at two years... so in theory he should reach 15hh. However, I know that cobs are more slow-growing and I wondered from your experiences, what height, as a "chunky" he might actually achieve?

Our two year olds are both about 14hh each now, they shouldn't exceed any more than 14.3hh if that helps the perspective at all :)

My cob stopped growing at about 7, but his growth was more outwards then up! He was 14hh when I got him at 4 and last year he peaked at 14.3. He is 8 now and always looked quite gangly but this last year he has suddenly filled out.

My boy was 14.2hh and a bit when i got him as a 3yo he is now just 5 and just past the 15.1hh mark , am hoping he wont grow much more as i am only a 5ft3 shortie.
Here's a pic of him last summer just because i love him :)

My ID x was 14.3 at 2 rising 3 by 6 years he'd hit 16hh. He had a REALLY poor start and basically did all growing once I bought hims as a 2 year old. However the Blagdon cob I had was 13hh at 2 and at 3 stands at 13.3 hh he is unlikely to get past 14.2hh as parents and grandparents and 4 gens back are all under 15hh
