Cider vinigar ?

The addition of Cider Vinegar to a horses diet will naturally clean your horses internal systems. This has been shown to increase the efficiency of the entire pulmonary system as well as reduce the side effects of drugs. By cleansing the internal systems you provide your horse with its maximum natural ability to eliminate the need for antibiotics. Helps to build muscle, strengthen bones and improve coat.

Good for improving coat, is a pre(or pro!?) biotic, and is good as a natural joint supplement. My boy has it in every other days feed, more as a joint support/preventative measure.

great for oldies with arthritic joints, i use it with my 28 year old horse with good effect, stops him being stiff each morning out of the stable, just add to feed "a good swish"!!

its really good for the joints and coat and for horses that get lots of bits one of my horses has been on it for years works really well good luck with it!!

i feed it to my boy! He's 20 now, and has a clicky fetlock. A friend told me to feed it as a joint suppliement. I thought she was crazy when she told me to feed it, but since i have been, his clicky fetlock seems to have gone.

I feed it through the summer as a natural fly repellent. It does seem to help - although I tend to remain skeptical about EVERY supplement I feed becaue I think 'the power of the mind' can often be the biggest factor :-)

My neds on it, he was very stiff as they are in a lot in winter and it makes him all shiney too. I tried it because he just decided one day out of the blue that he didnt like cod liver oil anymore but hes so much better on cider vinegar

Cider vinegar is brilliant stuff!!
I use it on my arthritic veterans - it helps their joints and is a good general all-round tonic.

You have to use the proper stuff though - it has to be unpasteurised and it should look cloudy. The stuff you get from supermarkets is pasteurised and no good.

My horse kindly shares his cider vinegar with me, he has a glug of it in his morning feed, and I have a tablespoonful in a glass mixed with honey and warm water.

So no more clicky fetlocks for either of us!

I tried mine on it for joints and it is "supposed" to help increase appitite (although it makes me wonder why they sell cider apple diet pills??) but after 2 months I have not seen any difference so I think I will stop. It probably does help some though
