Not in Devon - but a definite shout out for the Cinnamon Trust as an organization. My Mother fosters dogs for them - but I confess I did not know they extended to horses.

Neither did I. Worth knowing - sounds as though they don't have a full register of horse help

I used to do dog walking for the Cinnamon Trust - they're a wonderful charity. They allow very ill, disabled or elderly people who are struggling to care for their animals, the opportunity to keep their beloved pets. Often these pets are their only source of companionship on most days, and without them they would undoubtedly sink into depression and lose hope.
The lady whose dog I used to walk was lovely; I used to spent 30-40 mins walking the dog and then up to 3 hours sitting chatting with her! It was clear that she was very lonely. She eventually had to give up her dog anyway as she had to move into sheltered living, but she made lots of friends there and stays in touch with the fosters who send her regular updates.
If anyone in the area can spare the time help, do get in touch with the Cinnamon Trust - I wish I could but Devon is a bit of a commute from the West Midlands!
