Just reading this on H&H news made me wonder if there are any other past members on here. I was a member in the 1970's and remember hacking the horses across London from the Royal Mews to the Knightsbridge barracks for the evening lessons and then back again. Super horses and brilliant in traffic with everything done properly. Any else on here got some memories?

Such good memories! Was a member from mid 70s to early 80s. Brilliant times in the paddock at Kensington, the Barracks, London Riding Horse Parade, etc. I did my AI there and then bought my wonderful old horse, Durrell, from the HAC who had an arrangement with CSRC. He was "sacked" from the club for bad behaviour but he settled so well with me and was the gentlest, kindest horse you could ever hope to meet. We had nearly 20 years together before I lost him at an incredibly old age. Would love to hear from other members from that era.
