CJF - certified journeyman farrier?

Hi, does anyone know how a CJF compares to a DipWCF or an AWCF farrier? I think a CJF is an American qualification, am I right?

Yes, I did a but if research on it this week as I discovered my farrier holds this qual. This website was quite useful.

With regards to the paragraph below:

'Certified Journeymen Farriers who have two years farriery experience since passing the AFA CJF may apply for the WCF Diploma, which is a pre-requisite for taking the AWCF examination"

Does this mean the CJF qualification isn't at the same level as a DipWCF?

it is the US equivalent of the diploma , but the farrier still has to be registered by the FRC to shoe inthe UK .

It is as ferrador said the American equivilent, however the course is not as intensive, and th DipWCF is a more rounded qualification.. AWCF is a whole diferent ball game. these are farriers who Excel in remedial farriery.
