CLA game fair: Blenheim

I'm going - not taking the dog as we took our terrorist last time and she just about coped. The spangle is a little more highly strung, and with the forecast (thundery or just hot depending on which you look at) and the numbers of people I just don't think it's fair on her. Plus will have small fry in a buggy so controlling that plus hound in a crowd would not be good!

I'm going - also not taking the dogs - not fair in this heat, they would much rather be on the cool kitchen floor tiles.

Just got back from going today, lots to see, may have done a little shopping !

Waaayyy to hot to take dogs, but I saw a 12 week old GSP puppy plus elderly, overweight dogs all being dragged around in the heat - stupid people !

We're not taking any dogs, we have 5 springers, a working cocker and a smooth haired fox terrier between us and we figure it'll be too hot. OMG, we should all wear red carnations and carry the Guardian!! I'll be with a very short lady, a very blond boy and I'm wearing my very faded pink Tuffas, defo on the lookout for new yard boots! Look for a big ginger and you might see me! We're leaving at 6 to get to the springer show at 9.30.

Oh help, what was Jive pony?? I saw the zorse but that was it equine side. I was with my gun dog trainer so we spent an awful lot of time watching the scurries and retrieves and admiring the sheer number of wellingtons, Dubarrys, checked shirts and tweed! Hilarious! Bought very little, a game bag and a couple of slip leads. I had a fabulous time meeting a clumber spaniel and a Munsterlander, as well as Manchester, Cesky, Irish, Dandy Dinmont and Sealyham terriers! Brilliant!

The Wellies with tiny shorts or the lovely summer dress with the dubarrys... People spotting as a highlight! Weather a lot better than home. Came away with dog stuff for her bed, musto top, fudge and jam! Felt sorry for the dogs dragged about but loved the dog pools to cool them off in and water everywhere! French horns good too. Horse section really come on too.
