Claim to fame - who has been in H&H??

Been in the results section and had a picture in twice.

Once as the working rider and then this year for Floors Castle Horse Trials. Had picture in eventing magazine twice and some write ups. Very exciting when it happens! Think I would give up horses if I ever made it on the front cover of H &H

Had a couple of results in the back and some writing all about me in my first BD report

Once when I won an amateur cob class iand then got a mention for coming third at Kent County as I was on home ground, that was in the days when I did showing.

OH has mentioned me as Diva's owner when he has been in it. I'm still waiting to appear in my own right with her though

Years ago but in H & H a few times with photos when doing juniors, and in results section BE. Also remember photo in Eventing magazine - think it was Lincoln??? Also on the front of Rider magazine - years ago jumping a fence in water at Weston Park

Showing my age a bit here but back in the eighties there was a regular column by a lady called Ann Holland (nee Alcock) and she mentioned me as I had qualified for the final of a big pro-am competition that was running in the Kent area. I think the fact that my horse was stabled next door to her house may have had something to do with why I was chosen above all the other finalists

More recently have been quoted in a feature about collecting ring stewards and have managed to get my name in the small print of the reults section a couple of times.

My piece de resistance came in another magazine though...when I was given a full page spread photo sequence of me and my horse charging into the water at a hunter trial at Hever Castle. The 'water' was in fact the moat, and we didn't realise just how deep it was as we hit it....and so we parted company BIG time. The best (?) part about it though was that the horse, rather than swimming back to shore decided to head for the middle of the moat

I have had a few pieces in H and H, pics and write ups but that was back in 94/95.

Viento and I have had our names in the reports section this year which is so lovely as I broke him in myself etc and it makes me feel proud.

Ermm I have had quite a few results in mainly for BSJA, Had a few letters to the editor, a small photo when I had a 1/4 page 'case study' for a injuries during competition feature. Also been in a couple of competition write ups, One for coming =3rd at the talent spotters final (old talland format!), once on my 12h2 (when I was like 9 but I have it framed at home!) when we won all the 12h2 classes at the first ever indoor show in Jersey and the third was when came 3rd in a Blue Chip performance qualifier when I was majorly misquoted but was rather funny reading it.
 
Well we had a half page write up in the sporthorse breeding news section 2 weeks ago, with photos too!! Was absolutely stunned when I saw it.
Also been mentioned in the Royal Show write up as they did a paragraph about the boss and the filly I show for her so I got my name mentioned as I helped her buy her. The yard got a mention in the Leicester Show report and a mention and photo in the Ponies Uk article. I know the boss had a front cover a few years ago with her show hack- now thats something to aim for!!
 
A few results in the Eventing section where we managed to come in the first 3, and a showing class with the WP&CS when she was a youngster.

Last year there was a pic of Rosie and I jumping at the Trailblazers championship where they were advertising a free BSJA Ticket To Ride.

I've got 5 copies of it as friends sent it to me!
 
been in eventing and horse and hound with peeps i worked for as well as several letters of the week in H and H. Also horse, your horse and local rider cos i write for them and a national newspaper as a child when i ran out in front of the queens carriage at a procession near buckingham palace.
Finn has also been in local rider and i think BB was in eventriders.com when she was writing for them.
i think there are loads of us who deserve more press than we get we are all stars here!

Honestly, Alee Dee, I'm a nobody! I just got really lucky when I was loaned a horse, we both started to compete BD for the first time and won loads of Championships including two at the Nationals. It was a bit of a fairytale, hence the interest I guess.

i got a few lines back in 2004 for winning a Novice Freestyle to Music Qualifier at Sparsholt. Mostly just been in the results in the back though. Have been in HORSE mag twice though in 2005 and 2006 related to the Petplan Area Festivals and the Finals.

Me and my ned had a whole page in H+H, sadly it wasn't for wonderful competition results but that we're both defective and had ops a week apart. Hey ho I'll still get my photo in there for the rights reasons one day!
 
I've been in loads of dressage write ups over the years on many different horses and have also been quoted alot in respect of classes that I've judged.
 
Few results & I was quoted when I judged at a BSPS show. The funny thing was though I was there to judge some unaffiliated classes, & was asked to join the other judges for the supreme championship. When judging had finished someone with a press badge came & asked me about the result etc & I duly obliged. Never occurred to me they were from H & H, & that the judge from the unaffilated section would be the one quoted!!!
 
Oh I just spotted my name in this weeks! In the sporthorse breeding section again, in the Trakehner show report, right at the bottom, as I preped & showed my bosses filly to win the loose jumping. Thats 3 mentions this year after years of nothing!!
