Join us, line the Mall for Claire Lomas TUESDAY 11.30 Birdcage Walk walking the final hour to arrive on the finish line 12.30-1pm If possible wear Bottle Green and White - Claire's XC colours, but don't worry, people power more important!

Also live on the 1pm news with Sophie Raworth, and no doubt repeated on the 6pm news.

For those of you who haven't seen - this video taken by Anna Turney paralympic skier - please recommend to your friends via facebook etc

Now, I'm just wondering. Say it costs me around £40 in lost train fares etc to get there and back, which would Claire prefer as a method of applauding her amazing effort and determination, my face in the crowd or the money as a lasting tribute that may do some good?

Perhaps it would be worth considering whether the donations might not be an even more acceptable tribute?

Entirely up to you Dee, a lot of people work in London and may be able to get there easily, but whichever you choose, your support will be appreciated.

I'm in London so I'm going to walk down in a minute, hoping she doesn't finish early! Needless to say, I chose waterproof mascara today!
