I hope someone can help. I am feeling extremely guilty having hidden away from the rain today while Claire has been doing her walk.To save some semblance of self esteem I feel I must add to what little I have contributed ,but I cant find the link. Hope someone can help and hope some of you other fairweather folk will join me.

Rhino you are a star thank you. I am so worried for Claire ,the weather is absolutely ****. Any fool with an unbroken body can do a marathon in a few hours . What this girl is dooing takes true grit. I hope her backup team are taking good care of her.

It's humbling, isn't it? I have a huge amount of respect for my dad, he did the marathon on Sunday in sub 4 hours, pretty impressive for a man in his 60s who last did a marathon 20 years ago

What Claire is doing goes so far beyond that though, incredibly inspiring woman

I really hope more people donate....we have as she is one amazing lady.

She's on BBC news this morning at 8.24 iirc, worth a watch. In this weather, having to keep the robotic suit dry, and avoid chafing from the straps... Sweating from the exertion of every step... I just hope her support team are making her pace herself! She is amazing.

i hope someone recorded it because i missed most of it, argh! i think they will keep highlighting it, they said they'd go back to her when she finishes, and at this rate i can see her smashing her target, which is fantastic.
