it's just been tweeted. bit of a media frenzy there, if you can get to a t.v., have a look and see who you recognise! Quite a few eventers there today incl Kate Lucas & Francis Whittington.
She's raised over £85,000 so far, I'm still hoping that all this attention might boost her total to £100k which would be absolutely AMAZING...

apparently there's a marching band waiting for her on the Mall, and the Household Cavalry will accompany her. WOW.

Thanks for the heads-up, Kerilli. I saw her on Daybreak this morning too. So sorry I couldn't go down to see her actually cross the finish line.

Just seen a picture posted on twitter of everyone waiting for her at the finishing line and it has made me feel really emotional, can only imagine how she must feeling. A truly outstanding achievement by an amazing lady, and i will keep everything crossed she hits £100k.

Me too !! having a proper wibble !! Cant wait for the news at 1 !!

Just amazing! She is an incredibly brave and strong person. I watched this morning and every step she takes looks such hard work.

Inspirational.

I saw FW Twitter pictures and got all emotional - bet the atmosphere must be incredible, and accompanied by the household Calvary too. Wow!

Hopefully some news videos will go up online so I can have a watch, as not near a TV right now. She deserves all the media attention.

It is not possible not to be blown away by Claire. Her determination and courage speaks volumes for thousands of her followers and those who may have heard of her name.
What an amazing achievement, I personally wish her and her family all the very best. x

I cried watching her cross the finish and welled up at the box of medals, and the cavalry horses behind her..

What a fantastic, inspirational woman.. I don't even know her and I'm proud of her :)

Fab achievement, congrats :) xx

Thanks for posting the link Vallin - I now look a right numpty sitting at my computer with tears streaming down my face at work! What an inspriational woman she is.

How wonderful the Cavalry boys are there to support - they had one of their own suffer a horrendous spinal injury in Afghanistan just 2 years ago whilst in pursuit. He's getting better, slowly, but will never be able to take up his mounted duties due to the severity of his injuries, he will however walk up the aisle with his fiance next January so he counts himself incredibly fortunate. He's even managed to get back in the saddle, albeit with care.

Claire is truly inspirational, I'm so pleased she has achieved her target and more and raised the profile of the charity a little.

Many Many congralutations to Claire. Absolutely flippin' brilliant:D

She's going to get another £20 from me. There but for the grace of God go any of us who get on a horse, or drive a car, or cross the road, or simply walk downstairs.

Made me cry too. what an amazing lady. I'm off to donate a bit more. Pay day has ticked round again so I can put some more in the pot than I could when she started!

My housemates thought something terrible had happened - as I walked downstairs crying.

That video is fantastic, she deserves all the support and praise

Saw the interview on East Midlands today and it brought tears to my eyes when I saw her mounted escorts in the background and the donated medals. What an inspiration she is!

Totally amazing, makes me well up every time I hear something about Claire on the news, total raised is now up to 90k, incredible!

She got pretty much a page in Metro this morning and made the evening standard last night too :)
