I looked at a few older posts about clarendon boots and they seem to have mixed reviews. What is the general opinion on them? How much water do they collect? Would they be better than sweaty neoprene?

I had a set of Clarendon boots for my old horse, lovely and smart and fluffy.........until you went throught the water jump and they soaked it all up and went really heavy and probably would have stayed so for hours. Switched to Woof ones, so much easier.

I loved my Clarendon Boots, used them for years but I think materials have moved on now and there are better ones out there.

I've had mine for about 10 years, too smart (& expensive at the time)for getting dirty on wet hacks and XC though. Always used them in the jumping phase of workers, showjumping , at home schooling or dry hacking :D

Really love them, never slipped however fast we were going :)
