Just got back from walking the 2 springles and bumped into a regular accomplice. "Oh" she said "Wheres Smurph"
"Oh hes at home with his Dad, asleep on the sofa, both of them" said I.
"Is he OK" said she
"OK, just a bit sick and sore, hes had some root canal dental work today"
"I didnt know vets did that, will he be ok"
"No, hubbys had the dental stuff, not Smurph, hes absolutely fine, just asleep so I didnt bother to wake him for his walk"
"Oh" says she "thats OK then, I was quite worried to see you hadnt got him with you"

Its a springer spaniel, I bumped into a little girl a while ago who asked me if they were "springle spaniels" I liked it so much it stuck, it differentiates the springers from the IWS in our house
