New 2nd hand saddle is a bit grubby, feels really greasy like someone has put too much conditioner on. How do you get it off?? I haven't got any glycerine here, just that spray on tack cleaner and a bottle of spray on conditioner. Any top tips?!

Warm water with a bit of washing up liquid adn elbow grease

Agree with Emma123. I would use a washing up sponge ( you know the ones with the green scrubber on top of sponge) and washing up liquid and really clean it thoroughly both sides of teh leather. The usual is for people to soak them with Neatsfoot before they sell them as it makes stiff ol leather supple but if they over doo it it becomes slimy and yo have to try and get rid of it. don't be afraid to use water, leather will cope with that.

I use soda crystals to get greasy bits on saddle; I think it's a tablespoonful in a litre of hot water (it'll say on the tub). Allow to cool. I put it in one of those spray bottle thingys then spray on, watch ickiness melt away and wipe off. Suggest you do a patch test first though, just in case!!
