To follow my previous post (how to clean the inside of your hat?) I was wondering if and how you clean a backprotector - also thinking of dyeing mine get rid of the pink section to match the blue - can it be done??

Well I have hand washed mine with a hand wash detergent which worked but not sure about dying them.

Depends on if you can take the foam out of the BP. Some like the Rodney Powell and airowear you can, others like the racesafe you can't. I wouldn't wash if the foam can't be taken out (clean with a damp cloth??). If you can take the foam out, the I think you can put the outer cover in the washing machine. As to weather the dye would work I have no idea!!!!!
