Cleaning riding hats - help!

I have one of the GPA hats and I have to admit that it is not smelling particularly pleasant. How does everyone clean their riding hats (if you do) as I also have a velvet one for dressage that could also do with a spruce up.

My hats stink, OH is always complaining about my 'Hat Hair', tried everything (sprays, lotions you name it) so if you find something that works please let me know.

Get the Charles Owen hat deodeouriser (I cant spell) has a lemon smell to it and works really well

Does it clean as well as make it smell nice?

They do a cleaner and a deodorizer. I use the cleaner on mine every now and then and it works really well.

Yes the Charles Owen stuff is good. Have you tride the obvious (Febreze etc.)?
Or you could try the really really obvious like I did... buy a new hat! Or even better, I persuaded my Mum to buy me one
