Hey just a quickie really. Have just bought some william funnell tendon and fetlock boots off ebay and they are white (probably not the best colour choice

). Used them for the first time today and they are slightly dirty on the plastic outer coating and this already seems to be ingrained and doesn't come off with a sponge. Is there any way to keep them white? Can they go in the washing machine with the plastic outer or will they get damaged?

Thanks in advance.

Haven't got this make but I put all my boots in the washing machine...just use something like a delicates / synthetics cycle. With whites I put something like Napisan or OxyAction in to whiten and brighten them.

They can go in the washing machine on a quick wash without any problem. There may be some marks that don't come out..... but that's one of the down sides of having white boots.

We use these at work, I put them in the washer maybe 3-4 times a week, it does them no harm. No idea how to keep them white though, ours are slightly yellow now.

thanks huys my Oh has suggested soaking them in diluted bleach and then putting them in the washing machine - do you think this would work/not irritate his legs (the horses not the OH's!)
