Hi i am thinking about starting my own equestrian mobile valeting service on the weekends and just wondered if you could have your trailer/wagon jet washed and disinfected etc would you pay for it? Just want ideas on how many people would actually pay for it to be professionally cleaned if you had the option. Please let me know your ideas on it i would be very grateful.

Thanks :)

I'm in Lancashire/Greater Manchester just trying to get a business plan started so I can try and get a loan/grant for small van and equipment, got more research to do but want to make sure i will have a chance (especially in these current times!!) to maybe get something going that could be successful in the long run. Please keep posting people i really want your thoughts and opinions, thanks. :)

If you are mobile, you may want to think about linking up with show sites so you can offer the service on the day whilst the client is out competing! Maybe do a 10% off offer. Obviously would need to be quite quiet machinery so as not to upset nearby horses, but worth a thought. Or at least worth going to as many as possible to hand out flyers when you get upand running (or go now and do some market research for your business plan). If you ge up and running and come over near Huddersfield, let me know, I'd be willing to pay!

I would gladly pay. My horse wee's in the trailer every time we go out. I absolutely hate cleaning it out afterwards and would willingly pay to have it done.
