Cleaning yard boots

What do you do about cleaning and re-waterproofing yard boots (country boots type ones not rubber)? I have dublin pinnacles, made of a suede stuff on the foot. I have some normal leather waterproofing spray which I use on my jodhpur boots, will this work?

I do mine with whatever tack cleaner I have!
Dubbin(?) is good and cheap for waterproofing but I think the spray should work.

I use G-wax. Seems to do the job well.

I bought a generic waterproof spray from Aldi (for tents, coats and anything else) and it's brilliant. I try to hose my boots off daily anyway and I just spray them every now and then and they are perfectly waterproof (as they were a cheaper brand I'm not even sure they were waterproof bin the beginning).
