Ok, so George and I are being brave and having a bash at the little cross pole clear round jumping on Monday (eek!) and as I've never even watched clear round jumping I have some dumb questions
blush.gif
(no laughing please!) Here goes:
I assume we just need to look tidy?
Can you use whatever tack you like?
I assume George can wear his boots?
Do I have to wear a jacket, or is it just something tidy?
Do you walk the course or do you just watch it being ridden and go in and do it?
Can you do more than one round?

It's times like these I feel so inexperienced and it is slightly less embarassing asking on here than asking someone face to face

Good on you, hope you're not too nervous

Round here you don't need to wear a jacket for clear round but if you wanted to you could! I think the only thing you have to wear is an up to standard hat. George can wear his normal tack/boots etc and you can normally do as many as you like within reason.

Good luck - I hope you have a great time

Will be looking forward to a full report afterwards.

Dont ever feel embarrased about asking questions! how else are we meant to learn? I think you are far better asking than just doing what you think is right and finding out its not! Best of luck and enjoy it!
