"Clearance" Puppies

Scum, scum, scummity scum, ah, why should I go out to work all day to afford to pay for my dogs, among other things, when I can sit at home on my ass all day and make my dogs 'work' to pay for me.
Wonder if they are paying taxes on their 'earnings'? Because I certainly am...

I suspect they have amazing accountants and find a ton of expenses to deduct from their earnings so that they pay as few taxes as possible.

It surprises me no end that people still get puppies from places like these despite the way the parents are treated and the health issues and such that are often found.

I imagine some people think they are 'saving' the pups, but every one bought will create a gap for another to slot into and it will fund/fuel the market.
It depends on what people want to spend their money on, I suppose! I personally would not want to fund an operation like that.

i bloody hate designer hybrid dogs! well not the dogs themselves, poor little souls, but the people who breed em and even more so the people that buy em. An friend of mine bought one and was bragging to me about her being a Patterjack. she was shocked when i called it a cross-breed and at great pains to point out she was a 'full patterdale x JRT'. i just lol'd and asked her if she'd heard the tale of the emperors new clothes. I know its her money to spend as she wishes, but she paid only a bit less than i did for my Mickey who has a full pedigree, came from a reputable breeder, was health checked & tested etc

theres nothing wrong with x-breeds/mongerels per se, out of the 6 dogs i've owned only my latest, Mickey, is a pedigree the others being rescues so im not being a snob about em. i just despiar at people who pay a fortune for a x-breed that has basically been bred (in most cases i believe) to make the owner cash with no thought as to temprament/health etc that a good breeder takes care over.

sorry, rant over

totally agree with above
some people have more money than sense

we have alot of labrdoodles down here..not a pedigree a crossl..but theyve paid a four figure number for alot more than i paid for my kc whippys put together

They are the sorriest bunch of pups I've ever seen.

You get a 12 month congenital defect gaurantee - woo hoo, just when it stops being *cute* what about the rest of its life??!

arrggghhhh that makes me SOOO angry :mad:
Thats as bad, if not worse then the pet shop in Leeds that sells puppy farmed puppies
People need to stop buying them so that the people behind it have no gain from it. If you want a x breed, get a rescue. Mine is a rescue and I certainly didnt pay that much
When will people learn :/

They get away with it because people are fools. If people didn't buy these puppies they wouldn't have a business.

Why is it that of the enquiries I get, for boarding or grooming, it is the people who have handed over stupid amounts for poorly bred dogs who quibble the prices most?
