Having gone to Cleobury Mortimer today common sense has prevailed and Monday has been cancelled.
Apparently on Friday it was as dry as a bone, but believe you me today it was so muddy. I think they did the right thing by running today.
My husbands claim to fame today was the lovely Zara Phillips taking the time to talk to him !! She couldn't have spoken to a more non horsey person, ha,ha!!
Good job she was only asking the best way out of the lorry park, and nothing more technical ! LOL

Can't find a word to describe the weather without swearing, but I have never seen so much rain in my life!
I was one of the last to go in the PN & the SJ & XC were just mud baths

It's like a re hash of last year except worse.
I'm not surprised they cancelled tomorrow, it was horrendous today & I think it's supposed to rain more tonight!

One of ours was 7th in the intro today - amazed considering the weather and he isn't a mud lover
 
Yes I was there today I had only done the dressage and not one part of me was dry.
Lesson for today ' Always keep dry knickers on the lorry !'
I had a spare pair of joddies so had to travel home knickerless ! I was just praying we didn't have an accident. LOL
I was on around mid day and the ground was pretty bad then, I do feel sorry for event organisers but safety of horse and rider has to be their priority !
Hope you had a better day than I my horse hated it ! Just one of those days to forget
