Yesterday, I only had enough time to work with one or the other so decided to see how we got on riding and leading. I brought F over and then hopped onto T from the mounting block. F wasn't too sure and was a little iffy but came up beside T. If T so much as thought of biting F she got a tap on the shoulder with the whip. Within moments, they were walking together as though they've been doing it for years. So, delighted with T as she can be a really grumpy, "I'm in front and you have to stay 10 yards behind me" mare. This is the first time she's ever been asked something like this and F was a little trooper, taking it in her stride.
Can't wait to back her!!!
