So my ponies companion is a shire cross cob who is usually incredibly placid and I walkways thought a bit dim. Well since the fence came down in the storm last weekend she’s worked out she can jump the fence to go top herself up on longer grass!
Never thought she’d do anything like this. We’re going to make their first paddock a bit bigger in the hope she stops jumping. Fingers crossed otherwise we won’t be able to keep her in anywhere unless we buy about fifty taller posts!

Never underestimate the resourcefulness of a heavy. They may look dopey but it can be very deceptive as I found out with our Ardennes mare. She was by far the cleverest of all the horses I have worked with. Many a time I lay awake at night trying to figure out how to foil her latest trick.
