Hi
I was wondering if anyone could help before I decide whether I need to get the vet out or not!
I have a 6year old TB mare, who I have been bringing back into work (she doesn't do loads maybe 4 sessions of walk/trot a week). About a month ago I noticed sometimes her back legs, around the pastern, (her right more so than left), was swollen in a morning. I put this down to her coming back into work as it seemed to be the morning after and after being in the field it went. They are ocassionally still doing it but only ever so slightly and only now and again. But I noticed a week ago that one of them has started clicking (I think it's the left). There is a small amount of heat in her pasterns but nothing major. I've noticed that coming out of the stable in a morning she's quite stiff and often stretches out her back legs when she's brought out.
Any ideas what it might be??
Thanks very much
