Clicking hips

Our pony has started clicking when he walks/trots. Seems like he needs to have a bloody good stretch to click it out! He's not lame. Should I spend another 70 quid for the vet to tell me nowts wrong?

How old is he? I know of quite a few ponies that click, just like humans sometimes click. It could be from standing still in a stable for too long, artharius, or just clicking joints!

I agree that clicking isn't usually a soundness issue. My little mare has clicked since I had her at 4, she is now 13 with no related problems.
