Hi all
Quick question about clicky joints in horses - my rising 4 year old's off hind fetlock quite often clicks and almost seems like it's been a bit 'locked' until it's clicked. This only ever happens the first time I pick up his foot after he's been stood. There's no clicking when he moves or if I pick up his foot subsequent times, and there's no swelling or heat. I've had a chat with my vet when he was here for vacs and he wasn't concerned unless he was lame. He also just had a massive growth spurt. He's only been very lightly backed and has done very little at all.
Any experiences with this, especially in younger horses? I know I should listen to the vet and not panic, but I'm a worrier by nature!
Thanks
