Just had the chiro for a general/new horse check up. Everything ok, just pelvis out a bit (recent) and atlas out (not so recent) - I was convinced she had a headache as she didn't like me touching the near side of her head. All now sorted. And clicky joints, well she is 12 and we all get those as we get older - something for you younger ones to look forward to! The chiro said I should give her Cortaflex. This is new to me - in my previous horsey owner life we gave oil and cider vinegar. My friend says she has tried No bute (devils claw), cortaflex, superflex (NAF) and currently uses Glucosamine 2000 by Equine America. This last is much cheaper and she has not noticed any difference. She also said that Cortaflex contains mammallian products - not the sort of thing I want to give to a herbivore. Your comments please.
