we went to see a horse last week that had major clicky joints going on to me that says major arthritis and steroind injections. anyone know much more than me ???

mine has a clicky hock and I have been told to ignore it !!! He has glucosimine in the winter as he gets stiff, not sure if it is anything to do with it

Instructor had a horse with the same thing and it worked happily and lived until 30

Mine has had a clicky hock for the last 7yrs now and I've never had any trouble with him. Have SJ and evented so he's had a busy time with me too. I do use Cortaflex as a "just in case" though.

Cropi has a clicky hip, I've been told not to worry about it either. She has linseed oil that is meant to be good for her joints. Never had a problem with it

Lots of horses click some very loudly if he/she is not lame or in discomfort do'nt worry about it, one of mine has clicked for years and is sound and always willing. Strange thing is the click is worse at this time of year dies down a bit in the summer and is not heard in winter.

Mine has a clicky hock. Clicks sometimes and not others. She does loads - is 14yrs old and had no probs. Also feed Cortaflex just in case!
