Hi my mare has just been confirmed in foal about 50 days gone!!! but in the last couple of days I've noticed she seems to have a real clicky neck when she turns to the right!! it doesnt click when turning to the left... it doesnt seem to bother her it just sounds awful I've upped her Cod Liver Oil Suppliment (much to her disgust!!) but anybody any other suggestions!! or is it just this awful damp weather making her worse??? also she has just turned the big 20!!!!

Years ago when the vet came out for vax, I mentioned my horse's clicky neck and was advised that sometimes the tendons and ligaments can get caught going across the bony structures and as they come free, they click. It could be made worse by the damp weather.

I would speak to your vet to be on the safe side. I wonder if something like cortaflex would help, but check with your vet first esp as she is in foal.
