Beau has a mild click in his left hind pastern/fetlock. Doesn't click all the time. But I have noticed that he is not as fluid doing right canter circles. He will sometimes do 3/4 and then just as the front right is leading break into this HUGE bouncy trot. It's always the front right.
But he never trots up lame.

He is currently on about 10mg Cortaflex per day. And he is being ridden less and lunged twice a week as I have back issues and I want him to work without my balance interference.

So what should I do? He isnt in pain, and not appearing lame, and we don't compete and he is already 12 therefore I do not feel that there is much that can be done. We already pay a lot of attention to the ground condition before we jump or do fast work. Do you agree?

my hoss clicked when he was about 3 and never stopped since
he's never been lame or sorry, he's a bit stiff now but he's 29 so he's allowed

it depends whats causing it, but usually its just air being expelled from the ligaments and things as the joint moves, i believe

so if he's not lame i'd not worry overly much

One of my horse clicks and I had him 5 stage vetted, the vet said to me the fluid around the stifle gets sucked round like a vacuum and causes the clicking.
I wouldn't worry if hes not lame, I asked if I should give him a suppliment and he said it wouldn't help so you maybe able to save some money ?
