So I may have completely lost my mind but am considering heading over to Ireland to the Clifden sales and I have loads of questions!
-what are the prices the ponies reached last year?
-what transporters are good to use and what is the rough price to the north west, UK?
-I understand that you can vet them immediately after purchase, what stage vetting a do they do? And what’s the price?

Also any good places to stay would be great! I know this may not be the cheapest way to buy but I have managed to convince the OH that we can have a holiday at the same time!

Thanks guys!

Can’t help on much but believe there are lots of transport companies who will be hanging around ready to take lorry loads over to the UK. If they are there I used Wexford and found them very good.

You’ll not have trouble finding a transporter, but if you have a search on here you’ll see who people recommend (pm me for who to avoid).

There are masses of places to stay, have a look on Tripadvisor, but it all fills up fast. Clifden itself is manic so I’d find a b&b in one of the villages. Loads of places to eat and drink.

It’s worth contacting some of the studs ahead of time and seeing what they’re sending, gives you a chance to research lines/look at what else is out there.

Whether you buy or not, it’s great fun and a lovely part of the world to visit.
