Just wondered if any of you have one of these and whether you think they work?? I know a lot of people do not think that magnets can work in the way that they are professed to help calm youngsters etc, etc, etc, but I would like to hear from people who have actually used them.

I bougt one of these bridles but couldn't be a***d to tack up half an hour b4 riding, which is what you're meant to do, so it's hanging up in the tackroom waiting till I have the energy to list on ebay....

So you've never used it!!! It always takes me forever to get ready to ride, I normally put the bridle on, then his boots, then brush his tail and mane, then put the saddle on - get the picture!!!! I can't do anything quickly, so sounds perfectly fine for me he he

What size/colour is your bridle?

It's havannah cob size with flash noseband and rubber reins. Used it once or twice, but I'm normally tacking up at a 100 miles an hour with one foot in the stirrup, whilst putting bridle on, was gonna try again in summer when more time to tack up , but then decided horse looked nicer in black in any case

I use one, we have only had it about 10 days and yes you need to be disciplined to put it on for at least 1 hour before you ride and then ride in it or you dont get a result. I see a change in our fellow when we use it he is calmed doesnt get so stressed about silly things. We travelled him about 2 hours on Sat he then stood for another 1 hour and then we competed and he was fantastic so chilled and he did adouble clear. I want to continue using it for another month and then I will be able to judge what it has done.

Thanks for the info. I always have an open mind and prefer to ask the opinions of people who have actually tried these gadgets. Some work, some don't and I know they all work differently on different horses.
I'll wait to see how you get on.

Pity, my boy is an extra full size, and all my tack is black. In hindsight though I would really only want the headpiece thingy. As for the bridle, I really like the Sabre Cordoba. Been waiting for one to come up cheap on Ebay !!!! Still looking

I bought the Barnsby bridle, & I think there has been a difference. The nappiness is no where near as bad, & there have been no full up rears. Same as Colt only just got it so still trialling it out.
